The 3500PLUS System has been developed to double the maximum gross weight of a light commercial vehicle from 3,500 to 7,000 kilos. The advantage of the system is more payload and loading capacity. You can drive it with a BE driver license.
The 3500PLUS System is in fact a short-coupled tractor-trailer combination with the look and handling of a standard light commercial vehicle.
Depending on the choice and dimensions of the body, the 3.500PLUS System offers you a payload up to 2.500 - 3.000 kilos. Depending on the wheelbase of the vehicle, a body length up to 5.500 mm. is possible. BE-Combi is brand independent and the system can be built on most of the rear wheel drive light commercial vehicles.
The vehicle itself is converted into a tractor unit with a sub-frame, fifth wheel, air supply and an intelligent brake system, converting the hydraulic brake pressure into air pressure. The 3500PLUS trailer is tailor made for the vehicle of choice and connects to the vehicle as a normal Tractor-trailer combination. The body is built on the trailer and the BE-Combination is ready to go. The concept consists of a 3,500 kilo vehicle and a 3,500 kilo trailer. Together a gross combination weight (GCW) of 7,000 kilos in total.

4. The final result Coupling or uncoupling maybe seems to be a little complicated however, it is very simple. To support your workshop, BE-Combi has created two video animations with step-by-step instructions to make this a simple process. This saves valuable time and is preventing possible mistakes. The general manual provides you with valuable information about the system itself and regular- and preventive maintenance.
The BE-Combi 3500PLUS combination is especially developed to be operated with the BE-Driver License. Because the Gross Combination Weight (GCW) is limited to 7.000 kilos this BE-Combination can be operated with an old (before 01-2013) and the new (after 01-2013) BE-Driver License. Since rules and regulations may vary per country, please check with the local authorities for detailed information.
